RE-UPdate #35: From Twitter Debates to Fashion Campaigns

It’s now the second week back since Christmas, and things have returned to normal for RE-UP agency.

Before the team got stuck into tackling their daily duties, our Community Builder Tina initiated a discussion on Twitter’s potential plans to extend their character limit to 10,000. At the heart of our little debate was the impact that this change could have on our business and the media industry as a whole.

So is Twitter set to become the ultimate real time broadcaster, or will users desert the social channel as it changes beyond all recognition?

Continuing on from last week, one of the key tasks for many of the team has been to prepare and plan strategies for 2016.

In anticipation of our meeting with our lovely client OUIBUS in Paris, our content lead Zoe and the team worked on a thorough recap of everything we’ve been up to for the past year on the brand. Everything from activations to implementing a brand new editorial strategy and what that meant for our KPIs.  Using our planning tools and the keen insight from strategic planner Dan, we saw some great stats and overall the results look great for 2015.

Using the data gained and a new brief from the client, we have been busy brainstorming new activities for OUIBUS for 2016.

We’re looking forward to what this year has in store for us and the world of European coach travel!

While this was going on inside the office, outside of it several members of our team were off to France for a meeting with our client Groupe Humeau-Beaupreau, to plan launches, contests and most exciting of all – the new campaigns for both Méduse and Bopy.

Having been hard at work designing the kid’s outfits and putting together the shooting intentions for both campaigns with creative Krish, Art Director Andrea headed over with account lead Margaux to get stuck in with the Bopy brand shoot. We can’t wait to show you the results!

As always, everything is GO GO GO on Méduse, and our creative and strategic team have been preparing the design and setup for their yearly appearance at the Who’s Next 2016 Trade Show, brainstorming ideas for next month’s Instagram content.

Moving on from shoes in a timely fashion to the world of our client Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie who has now launched their online journal. With contribution from the RE-UP team soon to be featured, make sure you take a peak, and keep up-to-date with their new articles (each with a handy ‘minute’ reading time guide): https://journal.hautehorlogerie.org/en/.

Finally a couple of our favourite stories of the week:

So that’s it for this week, but come back next time to hear about more of the interest work that keeps us busy.
