Ok ok, so we haven’t given you a RE-UPdate in a few weeks. For good reasons though, we promise.
Firstly, we’ve been working hard with our new client iDBUS, getting into the wanderlust frame of mind and the Brits among us have Paris on the brain. More to come on that later in the year, so keep tuned in to their social channels.
Our work with Eastern Botanicals is keeping us zen and we’ve even started our course of Mood Balance herbs. We’ll keep you posted on how balanced our mood is in a few weeks ;p Speaking with wellness experts in the US, interviewing them and launching their new blog EB Journey with our friends over at RICE Creative.
We welcomed Rita to the team, our new designer who got thrown in at the deep end on a top secret (isn’t it always?) project. Talk about tight turnaround and an amazing team dynamic. All will be revealed in June. Oh and Rita is Irish: we told you, here at RE-UP we speak MANY forms of English. Ay ay.
We’re preparing some good energy for Social Shake-Up which will happen in London later this year thanks to our good friends from Social Media Today. Stay tuned.
We are also fine-tuning a great project with an international leader in the cosmetic industry. It will be about apps, about YOU people, and about your dreams and achievements. Stay tuned.
We’re also working more closely with the one, THE ONLY, Facebook, to get a better experience for our clients. Some very interesting new capabilities that we’ll be able to implement for you guys.
Oh and, forget the planes and trains, we’ve been in automobile world this week – kicking off our return from Easter (and in anticipation of his upcoming talk at this year’s Digital Shoreditch) Dan presented some of his thoughts and ideas on the future of the automotive industry.
Specifically looking at how connected cars and driverless technology will open up new avenues for advertisers and marketers, Dan pointed out several current cultural tension that car brands will have to face as they push forward their new technology.
Talking about the automotive industry, we have also been pushing onwards in our current research project for TNS, which recently has seen the team analysing the role brands play in motorsports, the main objective being to find whether having capital within a motorsports helps develop positive brand image.
Laurent wrote on the F8 Conference but also on French politics.
And we’re on the hunt for some bright young minds to fill our placement opportunities. We’re currently looking for a little social media b-boy or b-girl to join the team. If it’s your kind of hood, well well well,…email us at letstalk@thisisreup.com.
