RE-UPdate #37: Exploring Digital Experiences

This week our team has been working very hard trying to push through the final stages of several projects.

Our Operations Manager Efrem has been continuing to liaise with Rachel Khoo and the Khoollect team – as well as some techies who have been working on programming the Khoolect website. With the launch date growing ever nearer it has become increasingly important to iron out those last few bugs, and to get the whole team up to speed with WordPress and its many features and functions. Stay tuned as Sunday Times readers will have a sneak-preview of the site this weekend…with a secret code on Khoollect.com !

We had a chance to discover the guys from http://juliette-agency.com/ who are also behind Petrie Inventory ( http://www.petrieinventory.com/#home ). Be sure we’ll find a way to work with this creative team, between NYC and London.

Our Copywriter and creative thinker Krish had the exciting tasking of developing the concept for a new digital experience for the upcoming Shiseido campaign. The project involved her thinking about different ways that Shiseido consumers could explore and engage with a digital space through interactive functions. It was a tricky one, but she nailed.

Laurent also worked with the Journal of Brand Strategy, for an upcoming feature on all things related to multiculturalism and social media. He’s also planning a few creative workshops with Ravensbourne University, ESCP Europe and few exciting institutions and brands.

For fashionable French shoe brand Méduse, our Designer Andrea has been finishing editing and retouching the images from a recent photoshoot in Nantes.

As well this, he’s been providing the finishing touches to another photoshoot, this time for kids shoe brand Bopy.

On the subject of Bopy, we’ve also been exploring how Bopy’s competitor brands use their website to showcase products and promote a brand identity. We’re now using the key takeaways and best practises from this research to help construct a proposition for Bopy’s own new website.

We’ve also had a small group of the RE-UP team working on the design stand at the IWA tradeshow for UMA & Baudo. It’s a bit of a fishing and hunting theme… which is unusual for us to dive into.

As always here’s a few interesting stories that have caught our eye this week:

Lastly, we’ve been interviewing a few interesting candidates for various roles at RE-UP. If you’re sitting there, reading this and thinking “hey I’d like to join those guys” then feel free to drop us a message with your CV to Letstalk@thisisreup.com
